A Short Musical Biography
Braeden Janes is a musician, producer, youth educator, and recording studio owner from Westfield, IN. He began taking drum lessons at seven years old, and soon after began playing with the School of Rock in Carmel, IN. This is where he would later go on to work as a camp instructor and year-round teacher for students aged 5-7. His musical journey continued into his teenage years when in 2018 he co-founded the 7-piece funk band, Indy Gorgeous Club. With them, he has released an EP and single and continues to play many live shows across Fort Wayne and Indianapolis. During this time, he also got his start in recording and producing for local bands. He turned this hobby into a job in February of 2019 when he co-established Gorgeous Records LLC with a fellow producer and friend. Since then, Janes has produced dozens of commercial works for local bands, voice-over artists, and short films. Now a full-time audio engineer and session drummer, Janes is coming to fruition as a powerhouse of his local music community.

Carry on Wayward Son
This cover of the classic Kansas song "Carry on Wayward Son" was recorded (live drum set, electric guitar, bass, and vocals) and mixed in less than six hours. Features my drumming, audio engineering, mixing, and mastering.
Marche Nobilis
This is a project commissioned to me from Noblesville High School. All of the wind ensemble students were given a score to play and were directed to record their performance on their phones. What you hear is approximately 30 phone recordings of various brass, wind, and percussion instruments combined, mixed, and mastered by me.

I Will Be Enough
This is a song I recorded, mixed, and mastered for a local singer-songwriter. Ukulele and vocals only recorded separately. He was very nervous at first and would sing very quietly because people had told him that he sang too loud, but after some talking, honest advice, production, and laughs, we were able to get fantastic vocal performances.
